Hidden love

"When you are 16 you fall in love with anyone, when you turn 17 you think you found the right person. By the time you turn 18 you have already been deceived. When you are 19 things are starting to get better, and by the time you are 20 you start all over again". Being in love is one of the joys of life. We are the most happy in the whole wide world when we love. But what about the ones that love in secret? What is their life like?
They hide their love for what? Because they're to shy to confess, because they are afraid they'll be rejected, because they know that there's no way he/she would accept his/her love? I think one of the mentioned above is the answer. At first, for them it will be enough just to see that person, just to see his face, to see his smile, to know that he/she's healthy. But they're just deceiving themselves. As time passes they'll want more, they'll want to be noticed, to be loved as well. But they still decide to keep their love a secret. Why?
When , let's say you're to shy, you'll call a friend and ask for help. He/she gives you the advice to come forward and confess, but you can't. And the day you decide to take the big step, you find out from your so called friend that he/she helped him/her to confess to another person, because you were to shy to do it. But you still keep your love for him intact and wait for the day in that he/she would notice you.
Regardless of the problem that you have: you're to shy, to scared, alone, everyone should confess their love(look who' talking ;)) ), because we only have one life, and we should enjoy it at its fullest. Forget about everything and go for it.

  1. Well, first of all lemme say this : "Been there, done that."

I've actually been part of every little step you featured there. I've loved in secret, and I have also confessed my love. Let me state my opinion from my "boy" point of view.

When you're in my position, a.k.a. when you're a boy, confessing can be the most difficult thing you have ever done in your entire life. However, it's not all milk and honey afterwards because most guys who do that end up in what we could call, and is often the case, the "friend-zone".

This happens a lot these days. You confess your love to a girl, and the second she sees that, she thinks as you as her, toy. She knows you'll be there every day, no matter what, because, you, love, her. Doesn't matter if you're sick as a dog or in bed in Beyonce, she calls, you show. The truth is, this happens so often that the mere thought of confessing your love has become kinda of a tabu for boys. And I'm referring to true love.

Keep in mind that boys also put girls in the friend zone, but that happens rarely, and in pretty extreme cases, thus being a bit more painful for the girls albeit not always.

So yeah, that's my opinion on the matter.

P.S.: "Life's simple. You make choices and you don't look back."

  2. evil girl...That-s why you've got to choose wisely. I don't know if the story is about you but you kind of changed my mind about boys ..a little bit. I don't hear this to often.

  3. Well, most guys don't speak openly about this mainly because if you were a boy, and this happened to you, most guys would just go : "Bwahaaaa, she owned you, you were her TOY!" and just laugh their sorry little asses off. This usually happens on those dumb specimens who call themselves "MEN!" and treat girls or women, whichever would be the case, like dirt most of the time. And the funny thing is, those guys actually get the girls at the end of the movie. Nice guys rarely manage to do that.

Love is a curios thing, but you have to ask yourself, is it really love what we are actually seeing around us these days ? With relationships lasting 1 week, or one month at best ? I beg to differ.
